Stainless Steel Body Jewelry:

Stainless steel body jewelry is the main staple of the body piercing world.  All of our stainless steel jewelry is of the highest quality, hypoallergenic and guaranteed to be free of imperfections and factory malfunctions.

We carry a broad selection of stainless steel body jewelry from barbells to labrets, to captive bead rings.  Chances are if you need it we have it, and if we don't have it we can special order it for you.

All of our stainless, titanium and gold barbells, labrets and circular barbells are internally threaded and are guaranteed not to strip or malfunction.

Niobium Body Jewelry:

Niobium is an element so it contains no other material other than Niobium.  This material is a good choice for people who are sensitive to most other metals. As you will notice all of our niobium jewelry comes anodized in different colors.  This type of jewelry comes to us colored because the natural color of niobium is not that attractive.

We carry Niobium captive bead rings from 18g to 14g. We can custom order niobium barbells and captive bead rings in larger gauges as well.

Titanium Body Jewelry:

Titanium, as body jewelry, is a great option if you require something that is light weight and highly hypoallergenic.
This material works well for piercings that may become overly sensitive to weight such as nipple, genital, cartilage and eyebrow piercings.  It also works well for oral and lip piercings as it does not mar easily becuase of it's extreme hardness. Also titanium is a good choice for people that may have to have mri's or ct scans as it is non-ferromagnetic which means that it will not react to the doctors machinery.

We offer titanium in straight, curved and circular barbells and as threaded beads for barbells.  All of our titanium comes to us either wiith a high polished stainless look or in anodized colors like the niobium jewelry. As with the niobium jewelry we do have the ability to do custom orders as well.

Gold Body Jewelry:

The gold body jewelry that you will find at Spear Me is second to none, and we carry the largest selection of fine gold body jewelry in the area.  All of our gold comes standard as 14 karat, We can also get different karat weights such as 10k and 18k.  We carry a broad variety of gold body jewelry to fit almost any need, from basic captive bead rings to high end, high style navel jewelry.

All of the gold pieces we carry have either synthetic or semiprecious stones. We can custom order pieces with precious stones upon request.  We also guarantee all of our gold jewelry to be free from defects, if stones fall out or the piece strips you can bring it back and we will either fix it our replace it. We have yellow, white and rose gold jewelry on hand but If you need different colors of gold or even platinum we can accommodate this as well.

Large Gauge Jewelry Selection:

Organic Large Gauge Jewelry:

Organic jewelry is jewelry made from materials such as water buffalo horn, cow bone, different types of wood and roots and stone.  This type of jewelry is meant solely for healed piercings and is not recommended for streachingMost organic materials are highly porous and can create bacterial infections if the piercing is ripped or irritated during insertion of jewelry.

We have many styles of organic jewelry in gauges ranging from 10g to 1" to choose from.  We carry plugs in stone, bone, horn and wood and shaped jewelry such as spirals in wood, horn, bone and occasionally stone.

Benefits and Care of Organic Materials:

Horn:

Horn jewelry is made from the horn of the water buffalo and typically is either black, calico or gold in appearance.  It is a relatively easy to manipulate material and relatively abundant so the choices for shaped jewelry is often pretty large.  It also holds a polish well so you will find that most of this jewelry will be very shinny.  All of the horn that is used in production of this type of jewelry is collected from animals that have died from natural causes as well.  Horn also holds oils well so it can be used to condition dry piercings. Periodically soaking or rubbing the jewelry in essential oils such as jojoba, tea tree, vitamin e, or lavender will also help it maintain it's bright luster and keep it from cracking and drying out.

Bone:

Bone jewelry typically is made from the remains of cows, deer and elk.  It, like horn is easily manipulated so the variety is quite endless.  It is either white, cream colored or grey and as the horn holds a nice polish. Bone also tends not to need as much upkeep as horn as it does not dry out and become brittle as quickly.  Over time as the bone is worn it will typically change colors and turn slightly yellow from your skin oils.

Wood and Roots:

Wood and root jewelry can be made from many different types of wood and roots. Typically the wood jewelry you will find is made of Ebony, Blood Wood, Black Dogwood, coffee wood, batik and coconut but there are also many other types of wood and root that is ok for body jewelry.
Be careful though because certain types of wood can cause irritations or toxic breakouts from the oils secreted by the wood.  Such woods as pine, rosewood, hemlock, cedar and blackwood are considered toxic and should never be worn as body jewelry.  Wood jewelry should only be worn in healed piercings and never used to stretch with as the porosity of wood can cause chafing until it has been conditioned.

The great thing about wood jewelry is the fact that once the wood is conditioned (by essential oils or skin oils) it actually will keep your large gauge piercings moisturized and free of chapping during cold dry weather.  Wood also is a great material in that it is light weight and can be shaped into endless patterns.

Spear Me carries a small variety of wood jewelry (mostly ebony as an alternative to horn) and we plan on caring more soon as it is the most versatile material in the organic jewelry category.

Stone:

Stone jewelry is offered in a huge variety of types and shapes in that it is the most available source of natural material.
Popular stone includes different types of jade, marble, tigers eye, hematite, jadeite, jasper, obsidian, opalite and sodalite.  There are, however, many other types available.
Stone is a good option for people who are still stretching and want something relatively heavy, pretty and inexpensive as they go.  We offer a small amount of stone jewelry but can order upon request.

Glass Large Gauge Jewelry:

As larger body jewelry goes glass is a very popular material.  Glass, being an inert material, is a great option for people that have piercings that are sensitive to other metals. Glass is also a very light material so if weight is an issue this is also a choice for you. The main reason glass is so neat though is that you can get it in many different shapes, colors and designs.

Here at SpearMe we carry a wide variety of glass ranging from plugs to hooks to spirals and eyelets.

Stainless Large Gauge Jewelry:

Stainless is the main staple of the body jewelry world.  All of our stainless is of the highest quality and carries the highest, finest polish available.  Large gauge jewelry in stainless includes captive bead rings up to 7/16", circular barbells up to 7/16", talons, hooks and pincers up to 00g, plugs up to an 1" and eyelets up to 2".

We offer mostly eyelets, captive bead rings and circular barbells in large gauge stainless.  We do also carry a smaller variety of plugs in stainless.

Silicone Large Gauge Jewelry:

Silicone jewelry is a relatively new technology.  The benefits of silicone is that you can actually do minimal stretching with it by putting in a size larger than your current hole and it slowly expands to the next size.  Care has to be taken though when using silicone jewelry as a stretching aid because if you go to large too fast it can cause ripping and blowouts.  Also some people can have allergic reactions to silicone so test it before you stretch with it.

We carry silicone eyelets from 6g-1".  We have a good color selection as well.

Plastic Large Gauge Jewelry:

Acrylic or plastic body jewelry has been around for a very long time.  Acrylic is very light weight, hypoallergenic, impact resistant and above all else inexpensive. You can get circular, straight, and curved barbells, captive bead rings and plugs in acrylic. The minimum gauge we carry in plastic is 8g, anything thinner can break easily.

We have a minimal collection of acrylic body jewelry mostly consisting of plugs from 8g-1/2".  We can order other pieces and larger gauges upon request.
